Title |
Global origin in Microstation
| |
Description |
A user's Microstation seed file has a global origin of 0,0 to maintain all positive values in the dgn file. When he imports an iPOGO (V4.23) DXF file, he is prompted to shift the file to match the design plane.
| |
Comments |
iPOGO V4.23 has a DXF header predefined with extmin values that are negative. The header was generated originally using a blank dwg file that had been zoomed center on 0,0. As a result the extmin and extmax x values range from -300 to +300. These values will be revised to reflect the actual extents of the drawing objects in the next release.
An immediate work around is to import the iPOGO DXF file into AutoCAD or IntelliCAD and export another DXF file for importing into MicroStation.
