INTERACTIVE How do I use the command input window to enter commands?
Point numbers can be selected from the graphics screen to populate a command by pressing the Shift + Right Mouse button. The Ctrl + Right Mouse button selects a radius point with a ".1" appended. Release the Shift key to return to the standard graphic Pan and Zoom mode. The Shift + Left Mouse button will simply identify a point and display the point's attributes in the bottom status bar. If the command and data are valid, then the semi-colon end of command will be added automatically and the command will be processed when you press enter. If the command is a drawing command like 6, 7 or 8,etc. then the line will be drawn on screen if you have the Tools, Command Settings menu options set to Auto Redraw. The command printed output will be displayed in the output window. If the command and data are not valid, then the command will not be processed when you press enter. The cursor will return to the command input window for editing. The command history is saved in the command history window located immediately below the command input window. This window supports copy and paste mouse operations for copying and pasting the command back into the input window and rerunning. NOTICE!!! To permanently save the command history, the user MUST copy the command history to the clipboard and paste the new commands into the batch file when doing interactive computations. The command history is only retained during the current iPOGO session and is lost when the iPOGO session is terminated!!!! (applies to iPOGO, 5.0, 06/30/2001)
