UPGRADING What new features are in the Windows versions of iPOGO?
Updated features are discussed in other FAQs that include the Metes and Bounds Description (MBD), Traverse (TRAV), Curve Table, DXF In and DXF Out modules that are now seamlessly integrated directly into the iPOGO application model. The binary coordinate file format now contains point#, north, east, elevation, code, class, description for each point. The output is formatted to display up to 99999 point numbers. The user interface has been totally redesigned including: 1) new menu-driven dialog box interface with valid command syntax insertion in both batch and interactive modes for all basic number and alpha commands. Be careful in batch mode as the data is inserted at the location of the cursor. 2) new graphics interface for viewing and plotting the results of your computations. 3) new text editor for working in batch mode with support for find and replace and Goto Line Number. 4) new COR file toggle in the top of the editor window. Select this toggle and you can enter or select a binary coordinate file to run with the current batch file. 5) new Goto Line text box in the top of the editor window. Enter a line number and press enter to jump to a line in the document. This is used when you have an error at run time and it tells you the line number of the error. 6) new Tools, Settings menu options. Here you set up the display configuration settings and the old 94, 95, 97, 98, and 99 command toggles. (applies to iPOGO, 5.0, 06/30/2001)
