Methodology

Alpha Alias:Define SSCtrl
Description:Defines traverse stations for stakeout ties
Data Format: 41 Point# {[Point#] ... } ;
Problem: Define a set of traverse stations to be used with the 42, -42, and 45 commands for printing out stakeout ties.
Solution:
41 121 -123;

Data Description

Command

41

Defines a point or a series of points for use in commands 42, -42 or 45.

Point#

121

Point number that defines the traverse station to be used for stakeout.

{[Point#] ... }

-123

Repeating feature of this command. Enter additional point numbers to be defined as the traverse stations of the stakeout.

If you want to define a series of sequential points, enter the first and last points in the series. The last point number must be preceded by a hyphen.

Example: 1 -50 would define the range for points 1 through 50, inclusive.

$ Turn plot on

$ Activate the TL feature code with the 15 command

$ Activate the PL feature code with the 15 command
  15 PL ;
     100 Property Line ;
         7,29 1 -4 ;

$ Turn plot off
  -91 ;

$ Define stakeout control using the 41 command
  41 121 -123 ;

$ Stakeout points 1 through 4 where 
$   located within 60' of a traverse point
$   identified in the 41 command

    42 60 1 -4 ;
